Good lord, that was an ordeal and a half... I have just been shopping. Yes, for food and stuff. Scary!!!

Anyhow, I bought the following items:
  • Plain Yoghurt
  • Ice Cream
  • Baking Powder
  • Plain Chocolate
  • Condensed Milk
  • Self Raising Flour
  • Tikka Masala Sauce
  • Spaghetti and Sausages
  • Two chicken breasts
  • 35cl bottle of Vodka
  • Strawberry Jello Cubes

So now, with these ingredients (along with what I have at home), I can make the following things:
  • Chicken Tikka
  • Spaghetti and Sausages on Toast
  • Vodka Jello Shots
  • Chocolate Oat Yummy Thing
That should keep me going for several days, plus toast, cereal etc. And it cost me just £20. Subsequent trips won't include vodka or jello, so it'll then be under £15 for what will basically see me through a week. The Masala sauce will last a long time (although I'm not sure if it's the right stuff), so.... When I start doing Bolognese (which I didn't get ingredients for today because I don't plan on making any this week, and also because I couldn't find any pasata) that too will last a while. Goody...

On a totally different subject, the animals on campus are so tame... The squirrels will run past you, grab a nut from the ground, bite all the mud off it while stood just two feet away from you, then run back off just next to you. It's so weird. The sea gulls are also rather more bold than experience had led me to believe. It's all very nice, very nature-ish...

Today's chore for me is to mop up the bathroom floor. However, since Ebs, James and Lulu are all off playing football somewhere, I can't do that yet, what with not knowing where Ebs keeps the mop, and the fact that on their return they will no doubt bring large amounts of mud in. Oh well, whatever. Sitting in the computer labs is a good enough alternative :o)

Locating Passata in a Supermarket

Passata can usually be found near the tins of tomatoes - either in cartons (like LL milk) or in jars (more expensive).

Re: Locating Passata in a Supermarket

Thank you Mummy :o)
