OK, back to my normal style of updating. Which basically means opening this software when I log on, and then detailing every little thing I do... Ho hum... So anyway, right now I'm talking to David and Alex, and blah blah blah I'll tell you about my day then...

*goes to fetch calculator*

*runs program on calculator containing journal*

*marvels at splash screen on program*

OK. So anyway. Well, for much of the day my boss was missing. Don't ask me why, but he was just nowhere around, and nobody could find him. It did mean I could work uninterrupted at my own pace all day though, which was good. I got a really good set of results on the moisture sensor, but then it overloaded and hadn't returned to normal before I left. I also spent some time looking at the permeation instrument, analyzing the results from that. Tomorrow and Thursday I'll be just letting the instruments run their course, and finding a temperature coefficient (provided the MM1000D has returned to normal). My current main task is trying to figure out why the WVTR (Water Vapour Transmission Rate) formula is wrong. I think it's because they've got an expression for the weight of water in the top chamber rather than an expression for the ppm level. But I can't be sure, because I don't know enough of the theory behind it really. Better brush up... I also had a highly interesting chat with Gerry about Mongolia, but it's too lengthy to explain in much detail here...

*goes off to tell his father the story anyway*

Right now, I'm trying to get the SMS thing on the site working - I want it to send messages to my phone, and as yet, it's not done it... Then people can bother me all day - yay :o)

Um, anyhow, I've not got much to say right now. Hopefully Becky will be back tonight - otherwise I shall just sit here all on my lonesome (well, aside from the multitude of people I talk to, but all the same...)
