Oops, there goes my wagon..
Okay, so I've sort of fallen off the no chocolate wagon. Except that it was a deliberate choice, made based on rational and clear thinking. No, I'm serious..

For one reason or another, my hands started shaking just now, which was affecting my ability to type. To be honest, they've not actually stopped yet, but I'm soldiering on.

However, I recognised this as a blood sugar issue. It's not surprising given how little I've managed to eat today (the length of the train journey into work sort of killed plans for having enough free time to get lunch), but still, it needed fixing. I don't like having the shakes.

Sadly, that meant a quick injection of chocolate. So I went to the vending machine and picked out the least calorific, least chocolate-based thing I could find. Chocolate coated biscuits. That'll do..

It's only 200 calories, so I'm still well within my target for today. But it's kind of annoying, because I hadn't eaten chocolate all year so far, and now I have. Still, more than a month without? That's totally proof that I can live without chocolate, and that's an important lesson to learn :o)

So all things considered, it could be worse :o)

I find your love of chocolate endearing. A full month without is a feat unto itself. Be proud.

It certainly could be worse. :P

James, the other day, I ate half a pint of ice cream. Not just any ice cream, it was that Dove ice cream that's stuffed full of bits of chocolate ganache. It was singing a siren song to me from through the freezer! I couldn't help it!

With that in mind, I'd say you're doing just fine. Keep up the good work!
