Sixth Form
2012
unknownj
I've just remembered my sixth form timetable, so I figured I ought to write it down before I forget again..

M: Maths / Bio / Maths / Maths
T: Free / Chem / Chem / Tutor / Free
W: Maths / Free / Assembly / Bio
T: Chem / Free / Free / Free / Maths
F: Bio / Bio / Chem / Maths

As I recall, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays had four periods - 8:30 to 9:45, 10:00 to 11:15, 11:30 to 12:45 and 13:30 to 14:45.. Tuesdays and Thursdays had two periods after lunch, being 13:30 to 14:00 and 14:05 to 15:20 (though in ye olde days those were the other was around)..

Memory is a funny thing really.. In happier news, the train is on its way again, so eventually I should get to work..

I've been wondering about this...

Why is it "Maths" over there? I can sort of see the sense in it, as it would be a shortened version of "Mathematics," but is that the only reason?

Well yes, Mathematics is a plural, so the abbreviation is a plural. I've yet to find a good justification for calling it "Math".
