Apparently I'm a dork....

So, the public version, okay...

Frisbee last night was good, especially in light of the fact that this morning I don't ache, despite running around far more yesterday than I did on Wednesday. I think my body has finally managed to get used to the idea that exercise is just something that's going to happen to it these days... Having said that, I have lost a lot of skin off one of my big toes, because of my new football boots. Still, can't be helped. So yeah, Frisbee was good, although I missed some easy catches quite stupidly. Then again, I laid out and did this great diving catch which looked really cool, and worked. Hooray :o)

Anyway, after playing a few of the longest points ever, I substituted myself off and spent the rest of the time helping Adele, Katie, Emma and this other girl who looked just like Debbie... They were trying to get a certain throw right, so Jimbo and I started showing them how to do it, which was fun.... They all got really good at the end of it all, yay...

Then we went on what was advertised as a mini pub crawl, for those who had missed it on Wednesday. Ultimately though, it was mostly the same crowd from last time, but that was fine by me... Spent slightly too long chatting up Adele, which made me feel guilty on Jimbo's behalf (for reasons to be explained shortly)... Juan kept reminding me about the vinegar incident the other night, which was pleasant(!). We played various drinking games, I sucked at most of them, drank a lot of vodka, but overall I had a good night. Katie left pretty early on, and I don't think Penny stayed until the end either... Then people headed off to see Mr Scruff at the Concorde 2, while I foolishly decided to wait up for Jimbo and Adele, who were absent. After ten minutes, I decided that they probably weren't coming, and went home...

Anyway, it was at home that I received my first ever call on my house phone. The simple reason for that is that I never give the number out to anybody, so anybody who calls must have got it from elsewhere. It was, in fact, Petra, who simply asked for "James or James". Even if I was the second one of those two, I don't mind - it's still cool to be called. She was just seeing where we all were, I told her about Jimbo and Adele, and she was really happy for him (as I was, eventually, after the jealousy subsided). 'twas all good...

So, I should do something today, but I can't think of much that needs doing. Another frisbee practice tomorrow at Preston Park, which will be nice... Oh, and I shaved off what Waggle termed my "twat beard" - I had wanted to days ago, but Jimbo was out of shaving foam, and I forgot mine. And no way am I gonna attack that thing with just water - ouch. I put it to the vote at the booze-up after Frisbee, and most people said to get rid of it, and thus, I bow down before peer pressure :o)

Time for food.....

The one who has to go around looking like Deb, you mean? ;o)

I would NEVER tell such a wicked untruth.

I thought not, which is why I had to do it for you... :o)
