1.Do you like having your picture taken?
It depends. On one level, I love good pictures of me. But generally when my picture is taken, it's bad, so... :o\
2.Have you ever done a photo shoot, professional or non?</b>
Not as such
3.If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
For the first time in a long while, I'm kinda happy where I am. I don't intend to do any travelling for a couple of years now.
4.Who would you take with you on this little adventure?
Anybody who wanted to come, provided I liked them
5.What would you say is the most daring thing to do in a lifetime?
I dunno, but someday I hope to be able to say I did it
6.Would you ever do that?
Yes
7.Have you ever done crossword puzzles?
Sure
8.Ever actually completed one?
Yes, but not the cryptic ones, just the regular sort
9.Pick up the closest book and write a sentence at random from it.
"In my opinion, there is only one of them which can possibly qualify as SUPERB and this is not a particularly recent one: a theory called quantum electrodynamics (or QED), which emerged from the work of Jordan, Heisenberg, and Pauli, was formulated by Dirac in 1926-1934, and made workable by Bethe, Feynman, Schwinger and Tomonaga in 1947-1948."
10.Do the same with a lyric from either a cd or the radio.
"I'll be waving my hand, watching you drown" (from the music currently on Winamp)
11.Have you ever tried to analyze your own dreams?
Not beyond what they mean to me. If they mean something to me at the time, then that's fine. If I'd have to look up their meaning in a book, then I can be fairly sure that it wouldn't apply.
12.Would you put up posters in your room?
I have Monty Python, Shawshank, Harry Potter, Button Moon, Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Dogma and The Clangers. So I think yes.
13.Can you sing?
No, but I do anyway
14.Do you ever sing to yourself while doing everyday tasks?
Frequently
15.What's your favorite color of post-it note?
Orange. Although serious questions should be written on Green ones.
16.How many cassette tapes do you own?
About ten, perhaps?
17.How many cd's do you own?
Several hundred, I've not counted for a long time. There's about 50 on the racks in front of me, plus some on my shelves, some in my carry-case, some in boxes, and that's just the audio CDs...
18.Ever bought a cd for just one song?
Duran Duran's Greatest Hits, for Ordinary World. Lifehouse's No Name Face for Hanging By A Moment. Uncle Kracker's Double Wide for Follow Me. Moby's Play for My Weakness. It's the sort of thing I do often.
19.What would your perfect day consist of?

Wake up next to the woman I love. Get up, have breakfast of pancakes, syrup, and bacon. Make the kids their packed lunches for school, and drop them off on my way to work. Spend the morning doing a job that I enjoy, and get paid doing it. Spend my lunch break with friends with similar lives, just chatting. Go back to work for a couple of hours, then have the afternoon off to attend a school sports day with my wife. Our son wins his event, because he didn't get my genes. We take the kids out for whatever fast food kids are eating these days, then drop them off with either their grandparents, or our friends, or a babysitter, then go out and enjoy a lovely romantic candle-lit dinner by a riverside, where a jazz quartet is playing quietly in the background. Come home, check on the kids, and then sit in front of the fire chatting for a while. Then she and I would watch the sun come up.

*cough*

Um, sorry, got a bit distracted there. But in a nice way :o)

20.Have you ever lied to get off the phone or out of talking to someone on line?
Well obviously
21.Have you ever written a survey?
Yes, a few, but they're usually fairly easy
22.How about a song? If so share it or one of them.
Okay.

[Verse 1 - picked]
[C] It isn't a [G] love song
[F] Though I love [G] you
[C] Nor is it a [G] sad song
[F] Though I feel [G] blue
[Am] It's just a [G] song about
[C] The way I'm feeling [G] now
[Am] I'm just [G] expressing myself
[C] The only way that [G] I know how

[Chorus - strummed]
[D] I can't [A] stay away
[G] I don't know how to try
[D] You know that [A] I'll be back
[G] Could never say goodbye
[D] You are a [A] part of me
[G] I hope you know that I
[D] Will love you [A] now, forever,
[G] 'til the day I die

[Verse 2 - strummed]
[C] The words are so [G] hard now
[F] Can't get them to [G] flow
[C] I feel so bad for [G] leaving
[F] I just don't want to [G] go
[Am] But now I'm [G] gone
[C] And can't find my way [G] back
[Am] Have to wait to [G] come full circle
[C] On this one way [G] track

[Chorus - strummed]

[Bridge - strummed]
C - G - F - G
C - G - F - G
[Am] Every [G] time I leave
[C] I leave some me with [G] you
[Am] For me to [G] be complete
[C] I know what I must [G] do

[Last Chorus - strummed]
[D] I won't [A] stay away
[G] I wouldn't even try
[D] Now I'm [A] coming back
[G] And will not say goodbye
[D] I need you [A] here with me
[G] You take my heart so high
[D] I'll never [A] leave again
[G] Until the day I die

I don't think it's my best effort, but still...

23.Or maybe a poem? If so share it or one of them.
Well... Less a poem than a short story, but still:

Dark, but beyond black. Quiet, but beyond silence. For this is sleep, and things are not bound by the same rules that keep reality sensible and neat. Blackness is just being without light, and silence the absence of sound. But this is sleep, where light and sound are balanced out by their opposites - on the other side of consciousness. Perhaps these are what dreams and imagination are made from. But back on the real side, the waking side, there is a sleeper.

The silent sleeper goes about his silent duty in silence. You get the picture, right? Anyway, the sleeper never stirs, never wakes, is dead to the world which he would call his. He is alone, and although this fact is a source of pain, it allows the mind to wander the landscape of eternity, without thought nor feeling. For our sleeper is far from reality now.

Outisde - darkness. The black landscape crisply contrasting the pale blue sky with its red edged clouds. It is dawn - between the light and the dark. For a while the horizon offers a choice - the night of the ground, or the day that has already infiltrated the sky. Then, with a single shard of sunlight through a distant valley, the choice is made and the day has begun.

Our sleeper stirs. As nature unfurls her arms and stretches, the whole world comes to life. The songs of winged creatures penetrate the anti-sound of sleep, and our sleeper opens his eyes. Caught between reality and dreaming, there is no sense of identity, no awareness of the world. Just the conflict between the two realities. And who is to say which one we truly inhabit?

Our hero is now awake, and self awareness begins to shape his thoughts. The light, the surroundings, the idea of self, all trying to become the dominant thought. However, in front of self awareness comes emotion. How can the material world expect any sort of priority over love, hate, pure feeling?

There is no thought of light, nor the room, nor of our hero. There is just the thought of <insert writer's current thought>

Pfft....

57.Describe your favorite meal.

The Ultimate Sandwich (mk III)

Fry some bacon in a pan, and make sure there's lots of fat - you'll need it. Next, toast a slice of bread, and butter two more slices. Put marmite on one, and peanut butter on the other. Put a slice of processed cheese onto each of these. Then put bacon on top of each one, on top of the cheese. Butter the toast, and put marmite on one side. Put this down on the bacon, which is on the bread which has the peanut butter on it. Put peanut butter on the other side of the toast, and then put the marmite-bread (and its cheese and bacon) on that. What we then have should go like this:

Bread - Marmite - Cheese - Bacon - Peanut Butter - Toast - Marmite - Bacon - Cheese - Peanut Butter - Bread

Fry this in the bacon fat, first doing one side, then the other. Remove from frying pan, and eat. It's the nicest thing in the universe. I think I'll make one in a couple of hours, and take pictures :o)
