Well that was odd...
2012

There was a large police presence at Brighton Station - several dog units, and quite a few standard policemen. Very odd - I wonder what it was all about. Probably something to do with fears over chemical and biological weapons and stuff I would guess, but who knows...

Anyhow, our electricity ran out last night sometime (we have to pay in advance), so somebody (not me) needs to go get some more. I'd do it, only I'm in Uni, and will be for the next few hours. After that, I need to go collect something from the post office, and then find the comic book store that's meant to be just down the road from me... Speaking of post offices - I hate filling out customs declarations - it's sucky...

Oh, I forgot to announce to the general public that I now have a rather groovy LJ shirt. I'm wearing it now, in fact - I figure it's fun to advertise LJ to the Uni :o)

Speaking of LJ, my paid account will run out in the not-too-distant future. I'm now running on the free time I was given by Brad for the service not being entirely great all the time. Bad James. Support LJ. In similar news, I have to go pay off my credit card bill - fun... Oh well...

Now I'm just rambling... On the train on the way to Uni, I listened to Tonic's "Sugar" album, which just got me sad. Last time I listened to it properly (and the only time, in fact), was when Jen and I were in the car, going to Lewistown (to Wal*Mart if memory serves me correctly) over the mountain. It's funny, like, when I first got there, neither Jen nor I really knew our way around so well, but by the end of it, we were able to just cruise around Lewistown without worrying about knowing where we were going - of course, I don't recommend such actions - that's how you accidentally find yourself in trailer parks ;o)

Hmm.... Feeling kinda sad lately, not entirely sure why.... Guess it must just be one of those things. I was woken up this morning by some bint from the council, asking who lived on our premises so that they can try to clobber us with council tax. I explained about how we're exempt because we're full time students, and she said that they'll still ask us to pay it, and we're to then tell them that we're students, and they'll take it back. I can see a quicker way of doing this, but still...

Ed came to visit over the weekend. That was fun and stuff. Um, not much to tell about that though...

Watched Alien Resurrection with Alex, Jimbo and Claire last night - we were all reminded of quite how much it sucks (although I maintain the beginning half of it was still fun enough). Oh well, there we go. I'm going to stop rambling now, because it sucks. Bye.

There was an end-monster in the movie? I watched the film recently, and can't remember anything...

Indeed, I was far too tired and emotional to do anything interesting ;-)

If by that you mean rat-arsed on rum, then yes.
