... to CSS. You have found me, I see :o)

Can't have been that incredibly difficult...
;-)

Well no, this is true. But generally, our targets lack the ability to even operate a newsreader, let alone a search engine.

Bah... And then he posted about me, and I had to act all... respectable... and stuff... I feel dirty :o)

found and lost

(Anonymous)
it wasn't as hard as some might think :)

*scream*

Gah, I hate this thing. It's difficult to act like an uncaring sociopathic asshole when people find your journal, on which your siblings and father post, and on which you interact with others in a normal way.

Is it too late to salvage my reputation?

now now, stay calm. take this aspirin ...
and sit in this chair, yes ... and while
we attach these clamps to keep your eyes
open, you can watch this video of "The Running
Man", starring Arnold Schwarzenegger ...

(cue fx: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!)

What manner of evil is this?!! And I thought I was bad....

heh heh ... should've signed it :)

Well it was half designed with that in mind... After all, the pursuit of Peter Thomas is a loud one :o)

Will I never find out who Peter Thomas is!?

And how is it that he became so infamous?

And why does he have an account with my ISP?

And when will this comment end?

And where is it going to end?

And what is the point of it?

Oh well. : )

Will I never find out who Peter Thomas is!?
But would you WANT to?

And how is it that he became so infamous?
By the sheer number of people he's pissed off. ;-) I genuinely don't know why AGGTA has it in for him, because he'd stopped frequenting the group by the time I arrived. I know him from alt.music.prodigy-the, where he still posts a lot ... I didn't mind him terribly for quite a while at first, although he was forever involved in the most horrid of flame wars that he always accused other people of continuing, even though he'd never shut up himself ... but as I say, I didn't mind him too much, I just figured he lacked social skills.

And then he got into the habit of occasionally writing me privately about one thing or another, mostly to take an off-topic discussion off the newsgroup (he's terribly anal about being 'on-topic'), and we'd have a perfectly nice exchange of messages for a few days, when he'd suddenly stop writing and begin making awful comments about me on the newsgroup.

*shrug* I can live with that. What made me really dislike the guy was his habit of making friends with people in their mid-teens, getting them to really trust him, and then basically blabbing all their private discussions to the group and making the most hideous fun of them. He really hurt the feelings of a lot of people that trusted him, and just took a sick amount of joy in it ... and when you'll do that for fun to some young trusting person, that's just bloody unforgiveable, in my opinion.

So I hate the little shit.

And why does he have an account with my ISP?
Dunno, maybe you were an axe murderer in a previous life and this is karma?

And when will this comment end?

And where is it going to end?

And what is the point of it?

Nowhere, it won't, and there isn't one. :-D

Happy hunting.

God I hate it when I forget to close an HTML tag. %-)

He sounds like a right little twat, is he still in amp-t? I might have to come along and investigate ; )

*big grin* Yah, he's still there, irritating all and sundry ...

hmmm ... you managed to pick a newsgroup that's filled with people who have become easily riled ... when i said that you lot are destroying a community, I meant it. Imagine someone ripped apart adjective-army ... betcha wouldn't like it. That's the way a lot of css ppl are feeling right now. Some are angry and thinking of what to do to you and your friends, others have unsubscribed in disgust, because a place they know to be friendly and welcoming has become polluted (for want of a better word).

That's the skinny. What can you and your friends do about it?!

All I can do (as per my latest post in our discussion) is leave, as was inevitable. Unfortunately, while I can claim some leadership over a few of the participants, many of them chose to come themselves. I just tagged along for the ride. These are the people who are actually seeking Peter Thomas - I just came along to see how he reacted, since they've been doing it for a while, and I've not seen him react yet. These people may be harder to convince.

I would suggest that Peter is ignoring every single one of you, and further antagonising the newsgroup serves no useful purpose at all. By all means harass Peter - I don't even know the guy :), but realistically this constant bombardment on css is doing no-one any favours whatsoever.

You've realised it, let's hope others do. If you can speak to others to let them realise this, I and everyone else on css would be grateful. Really.

We can take this conversation to email if you feel it serves any further purpose.

I'll have a try, but I can't promise results, unfortunately...

I think we're probably done here. Should you feel the need to e-mail me, I expect you know all the possible e-mail addresses on which to contact me already :o)

Hmm, at least 'neuro' was friendly and articulate and, really, made a decent case ...

Arse, maybe we just need to bombard AMP-T,they're used to it. 8-)

Yes, lets :o)

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D
