South Korea have a confusing team.. They have:

W Lee
Y Lee
E Lee
H Lee
C Lee
Y Kim
J Kim
N Kim
S Kim

That's nine out of the fourteen players who've been on the pitch.. Still, I guess it gives you about a 1/2 chance of randomly guessing the correct name for a player..

I'm confused. How did you arrive at your about 50% chance?

First, because they're a minority (and thus need marginalising), I decided to ignore everybody who isn't called Kim or Lee. Once those people are out of the way, it's about 50:50 :o)

Ah, so it's a 50% chance of being called either Lee (my maternal grandfather was a Lee, perhaps we're related!) or Kim. Which in turn means a 25% chance of randomly guessing the surname.

I think you are associating with th ewrong sort of people - marketing!

No.. it's a 50% chance of being called Lee, or 50% chance of being called Kim. All others are an anomaly, and can be ignored since they don't fit the pattern..
