Nationalism:
The doctrine that your national culture and interests are superior to any other

Though in certain, rather topical cases, we can safely ignore the word "culture", or at least qualify it with the phrase "or lack thereof".

The gym was good, except the bit where the red light flashes as if to tell me I'm about to die (it's not my fault, I've always had a quick pulse).. At some point I need to put together a gym playlist for my MP3 player and just stick it in a directory somewhere, so that I can have some exhaustion-inspiring songs to listen to...

And now, without further ado - work!

Wrong. That's one type of nationalism (the one that the Germans liked in the 30's and 40's), but it's incomplete and as such, grossly inaccurate.

Well I only bothered taking the definition (out of the three available) that proved my point.

Selectively reporting the facts is what REAL journalism is about, Bill...

It depends on which media model you use, and you're clearly siding with the libertarians :-)
